To do finance, accounting, analysis or reporting well, FAAR℠ believes that it is not sufficient to be technically proficient in their sciences.  Instead, this aptitude in quantitative analytics and the ability to comply with promulgated reporting standards must be married to a strong investment acumen, an in-depth familiarity with accounting, and a belief in the need and usefulness of the art of “story-telling”.  In the context of finance and FAAR℠, “story-telling” refers to nothing more than unearthing a narrative that explains the status, the happenings, and performance of investments and operations (both those consummated and those contemplated) in a simple, cohesive, and comprehensive way.

Delivering FAAR-Better℠ services and tools entails 1) making use of substantial professional experience to properly define desired work-products); 2) utilizing the requisite business/investment acumen to develop an innovative and difference-making outlook to the challenges; 3) exploiting accounting, analytical and other technical expertise to formulate effective solutions; 4) carrying-out the work with the right frame of mind; and 5) delivering the work product in a straightforward and insightful format.  For the arena of investment/fund management, FAAR℠ has applied analytical and reporting concepts from outside the fund industry (specifically, proven concepts borrowed from managerial/cost accounting discipline).  Finally, these components are melded together by processes and tools that are well thought-out and powerful.

The entire framework is carried-out and directed by FAAR℠'s Principal, a short biography of whom is presented below:
